hedgeless_horseman's Revolutionary Call to Arms

The Neocon's Hegemonic Goal Is Driving The World To Extinction
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/13/2015 21:45 -0500As in George Orwell’s 1984, the IMF is dividing the world into warring factions - the West vs. the BRICS. To avoid the coming conflict that the neoconservatives’ pursuit of American hegemony is bringing, the Russians have relied on fact-based, truth-based diplomacy. However, neocon Washington relies on lies and propaganda and has many more and much louder voices. Consequently, it is Washington’s lies, not Russia’s truth, that most of the Western sheeple believe. The Western peoples are so dimwitted that they have not yet understood that the “war on terror” is, in fact, a war to create terror that can be exported to Muslim areas of Russia and China in order to destabilize the two countries that serve as a check on Washington’s unilateral, hegemonic power.
George Orwell, Edward Bernays & Perpetual War
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/07/2015 22:00 -0500George Orwell explained the cynical mechanism of Perpetual War in "1984" as a means to control the masses through terror and scarcity. Western Civilization has been embroiled in various continuous wars since Hitler invaded Poland. The Western public has passively abided Perpetual War, not because of scarcity, but because of consumer abundance, which was developed by virtually anonymous men like Edward Bernays in the 1920s. This is how men in the shadows transformed the American citizen into the American consumer, thus turning the public into a docile, unwitting accomplice in the mayhem which envelops the globe which so enriches those on high.

'America The Herd' Is Ever At Odds With 'America The Civilization'
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/13/2015 16:46 -0500It is America the Herd that is keeping America the Civilization from feeling and being prosperous and safe. For too long, we have let our rulers ride us roughshod, using us to trample the economy and global tranquility with its economic and military interventions. Make America good again, and the kinds of greatness actually worth having will naturally follow.
Russia Is Destabilizing Syria… According To The People Currently Destabilizing Syria
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/01/2015 21:29 -0500Critics concerned by what Russia is accused of doing — destabilizing Syria and prolonging the conflict— should be equally opposed to U.S. intervention in that country. U.S. intervention in Syria, much like U.S. intervention elsewhere, has culminated in unprecedented destabilization and blowback. However, most people — as George Orwell understood — have a lopsided view of history, as they ignore and almost refuse to come to terms with the atrocities their own state commits, and by that logic, ignore the detrimental role the United States has played in Syria.
14 Year Old Texan, Ahmed Mohammed, Arrested For Home-Made Clock Because "It Looks Like A Bomb"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/16/2015 12:50 -0500A perfect storm of Islamophobia and technophobia (as Wired.com's Marcus Wohlsen so eloquently put it) has erupted in Texas where high-school freshman Ahmed Mohamed was arrested Monday after bringing a homemade digital clock to MacArthur High. A teacher at the Irving school exclaimed "it looks like a bomb," resulting in a call to police. By mid-afternoon, police were leading the boy out of school in handcuffs and taking him to juvenile detention on suspicion of making a "hoax bomb." As Mike Krieger sums up so perfectly, America is a deeply fallen nation. I don’t know how obvious it has to become before people come to grips and start to do something about it.
A Refugee Crisis Made In America
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/13/2015 21:40 -0500We Americans are in something approaching complete denial about how truly horrible our nation’s recent impact on the rest of the world has been. We are universally hated, even by those who have their hands out to receive their Danegeld, and the world is undoubtedly shaking its head as it listens to the bile coming out of the mouths of our presidential candidates. Shakespeare observed that the “evil that men do lives after them,” but he had no experience of the United States.

So the situation in some cases is far worse already"
"Orwellian" FBI Says Citizens Should Have No Secrets That The Government Can't Access
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/08/2015 21:15 -0500The police and surveillance state predicted in the forward-looking 1940s classic “1984” by George Orwell, has slowly, but steadily, come to fruition. However, like a frog sitting idly in a pan of steadily-warming water, too many Americans still seem unaware that the slow boil of big government is killing their constitutional liberties. The latest sign of this stealth takeover of civil rights and freedom was epitomized in recent Senate testimony by FBI Director James Comey, who voiced his objections to civilian use of encryption to protect personal data – information the government has no automatic right to obtain.

How The Saudi Foreign Ministry Controls Arab Media
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 06/20/2015 18:01 -0500On Monday, Saudi Arabia celebrated the beheading of its 100th prisoner this year. The story was nowhere to be seen on Arab media despite the story's circulation on wire services. Even international media was relatively mute about this milestone compared to what it might have been if it had concerned a different country. How does a story like this go unnoticed? Today's release of the WikiLeaks "Saudi Cables" from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs show how it's done.
